…you don’t need a giant rectangle that competes with all your meetings. There’s a lighter awareness
Yeah, this is the kind of thing I’ve been thinking I need in a calendar app / todo list / whatever.
There’s just one glaring problem with ideas like this… You don’t have a solution. Yes, there is something there. But what is that something? What would that look like?
It sounds to me like they’re asking all the right questions, which is exciting, but it’s a bit difficult to buy in when they don’t have even an idea of what the answers might be.

That’s the kind of thing Google Allo was promising, right? Obviously, it never had a chance to truly get there…

You’re not alone. I wish for the very same.
Though I also wouldn’t say no to a backbone-esqe controller for a 10 inch iPad, either.

That KVM interests me, too.
I primarily run a Windows machine, but occasionally have to switch to a Mac Mini for Mac and iOS-related stuff. At the moment, it’s easier to use a remote desktop solution like VNC or TeamViewer to connect to it, even though it literally sits on my desk.
Being able to toggle picture-by-picture mode (is that something that can be toggled in software or do you need to futz with buttons on the monitor itself?) and have the KVM engage seamlessly sounds like a dream.

"Antiquated"? I’m curious, what would you put forward as a "modern" alternative?
