Classic crypto exchange strategy during a selloff. People can’t sell if they can’t login

Yeah they’re regulating crypto because it’s almost all scams and they want to protect idiots who buy into the cult from losing all their money.
Most real companies don’t do anything with crypto, it’s ones that a stock promotion businesses like GME, AMC and Tesla that make the biggest deal about transacting in crypto

Nations with corrupt dictatorial leaders and companies trying to pump their stonk price isn’t evidence of the staying power you think it is.

Bitcoin transaction times and costs have higher variability. I have sent many wires faster and cheaper than a bitcoin transaction.
It’s also time to stop pretending that just because the internet developed into something amazing the same will be true of cryptocurrency. Sometimes things are just dead ends. Bitcoin has been around for more than a decade and is still mostly useless for transactions and a huge waste of energy. It’s value currently is derived from companies that make money of retail traders speculating and thousands of crypto ponzi schemes that are in the process of collapsing.

If you think green energy existed in a form that could power humanity 100 years ago it’s you who has the good stuff.

Hint: green energy capacity being built to supply wasteful crypto mining operations means that energy isn’t replacing higher carbon energy in actually useful things.
The crypto cult is full of cope lately after being forced to confront the fact that it’s an environmental disaster so has been trying to greenwash it (also see your rants in this thread). I suggest you start getting information from places without "coin" in the name to get a less biased perspective.

"You have no foot in this debate, your knowledge comes from propaganda & isn’t fact based or weighted."
"I wish you people would stop ponying off your ignorance as fact."
You should take your own advice and learn about how things work from outside the crypto cult. Maybe then you’d realize why crypto wasting energy impedes the actually useful parts of the financial system from becoming greener

The internet was immediately useful, cryptocurrency has had almost no use in the decade+ it’s been around for. Also just because smartphones became the future that doesn’t mean that every new technology will become dominant, some of them are still just useless.
And becoming greener faster doesn’t really matter if you’re starting from a point that is significantly less green and far less efficient. In fact, retired coal plants are being reopened to mine crypto, that’s the opposite of becoming more green.
You should seriously try getting some information from outside your little cult. It might help question some of the things you just believe that any new technology is an amazing new future.

The banking system handles way more transactions and other useful functions that crypto doesn’t or can’t. Crypto doesn’t do anything useful after a decade and is still less efficient on a transaction level than tradfi

Since he obviously has no idea how he’s going to get twitter to make money maybe let’s not report on every random idea he decides to throw out there.
