This is a bold move, considering the fact that it’s getting to the point where the only content you can get on Netflix is the content that company makes. While I will never subscribe to CBS, Peacock, Paramount, etc., I’m also not going to keep paying more and more for less from Netflix. I suppose I’ll just start subscribing long enough to watch all of my shows for a month, then unsubscribe and subscribe to Hulu to watch shows there, etc.
Everything is going up lately. Inflation is kind of out of control. And my job isn’t one that gets raises often, if ever. So every time there’s an increase, it’s just more money out of my budget for the foreseeable future.
Comcast has commercials and thus will never have my business.

Paramount plus as a streaming service doesn’t even need to exist. They will never get my view time. I’m waiting for all of these streaming services to inevitably collapse so we can go back to having most of the content in a few places. I’m not subscribing to 10 different services to watch a handful of shows and I’m certainly not watching ads.
I know all of these TV executives want more houses, but I’m not paying for them.
