While our energy bill may have gone up slightly, our increased savings in gasoline and other travel costs were huge. Made up for any increased energy costs we saw. I also saved on other things like the occasional lunch out while working in the office or the occasional breakfast stop while driving in. Personally, I didn

The real issues is at current prices they were already losing money on each device sold. I’m sure with rising costs to build it, they’re losing even more money then they intended. It’s a shame that some people are priced out of it (because I personally think it’s a wonderful device) and this is only going to make it worse. While the price raise does seem weird, it somehow feels better that this isn’t pure corporate greed in this case.

They are available in the States. With where I live, package theft isn’t really a concern. So that’s never worried us or been a problem. I don’t think the lockers were a thing when we cancelled however. That could potentially be a new option now to get around having Prime. As it is, we’ve decided to budget it in. The price does seem fairly high now and the "value" of it is questionable these days. It’s really a huge convenience tax at this point.

As an American, I’m surprised that Prime stayed so much cheaper in these other countries compared to the price in the U.S..
Our family tried to cancel it when the price went to $139. We lasted a couple of months but then realized we relied on it too much. I still wish I could separate Prime TV from shipping. I don’t care about Prime TV too much and we really just want the shipping.

This sounds very intriguing! And it’s priced decently also.

With this being only 7 states, I assume lawyers in other states have their own cases already in court? Or there will be a mountain of them coming now that there is a precedent set and some easy money sitting out there (for a law firm, not the affected parties of course).

Keep in mind that this is only 7 states in the US. I’m not sure how that happens, but I’m assuming this means there are other class actions lawsuits in place already or more will be coming from the states not involved in this as a result.

Ha, I was actually wondering the exact same thing. The story mentions an emergency toilet, but what about all of the normal times? I’m assuming they’re pulling the hiker method and digging a hole?

I found this on the Sega JP site. It shows the list of games.

Knowing the games for this thing is the most important part. I’m holding out also until I see it.
