For DC fast charging it’s also software.

I actually think we can afford it, but it would be better if Tesla open up their charging stations to other car makers.
Electric vehicle charging is not super expensive in the pig picture (say, compared to Apple’s walled garden for example), unlike gas selling as a business model. Ultimately DC fast charging is still going to be a small % of all chargers out there and the format war stuff slows down adoption early, and probably make no difference in the long run. There are other upsides we can ignore as well, but sure.

Yes.
And you know what? the 4090 will most likely run with less power overall than a 3090 if you are running the exact same software/game at the same framerate.
So why hate on it?

I don’t think Netflix is doing anything wrong. The drop in subscribers directly relates to value perception (cost vs hours spent). New services are competitive in price and there’s nothing profoundly more valuable to Netflix now despite the large library, if you’re just going to watch what’s new. It’s more interesting to see how the service grows internationally and how other competitors’ long game are going to be. I mean it’s hard to see how Apple TV+, for example, will actually be as big of a profit driver as Netflix will ever be in the long run.

I agree that Google and others will have to add spam filter for RCS. It’s also kind of new and other folks are just playing catch up.

That’s definitely the case in the USA. Not sure what India’s laws are.

Yeah if someone can compare audio quality with WF XM3s that’d be great. Given that they’re not too different than XM4s maybe it’s still better than Linkbuds S.

Google didn’t make RCS though… They only help coordinate it being adopted.
Generally speaking all that verified business stuff is in the hands of carriers. Google probably don’t have any real control.

All orders combined is not even a drop in the bucket. And not to even mention orders delivered.

One of our work rig is still on 1080TI x4. We’ve put off upgrading because of the ridiculous prices for vidya and there are more cloud resources for ML training that we can get by. Two 4090s probably will make more sense as an upgrade.

My bad, I stand corrected. There are a couple that shipped, but all are still low volume. I don’t know when Tesla will ship theirs but it’s still supply constrained and likely to be the case in the foreseeable future.

Yes, because you get better graphics at running more compute… if you are just telling people to stop running games at the max setting, come out and say it and not come up with some weird anti-tech bent that doesn’t line up with reality.

Saying that they have no inherent value is admitting that digital art as a medium has no inherent value. And without a way for artists to make money from their work, there would be no art.
Pretty sure artist make money from art since a long time ago, many centuries before digital art as a medium was even words people would put together in the same sentence.
If anything, the digital art as a medium often is used as a way to deprive artists money from their work as much as it is a way for artists to make money from their work.
