Uber could solve this by launching their reinvention of email, Umail:
- You can’t send messages to existing email or other message platforms without first downloading the raw data and pasting that into a different client or using a third party service to connect them—either way all metadata, timestamps, message threads are lost in the process
- Email servers are run on stranger’s personal computers—there is no transparency into the location, connection speed, or security of those computers
- By default you share an inbox with other strangers, including storage space
- Pay a small premium and you get your own inbox (but still on a random server with the same storage space)
- Pay additional premiums for more space and ostensibly better servers, possibly even in a small scale private server farm (either a independent operator or a middleman/side hustle running on a top tier cloud service—again, none of which you can know or control ahead of time)
Talk about revolutionary!

Now bring this thing full circle with an Affleck/Pattinson multiverse storyline, because you know them studios gotta Scrooge McDuck the f*#k out their franchises these days.
(And there’s almost certainly already fanfic that provides plenty of source material.)

The fact that a person would unironically declare wanting to leave a legacy that is (non-metaphorically) equivalent to the pyramids says everything you need to know about them, their ambitions, and how they intend to use their short span of time on earth. What a waste…

… will be the first to include GM’s new Ultra Cruise advanced driver-assist system, which the automaker claims will cover "95 percent" of driving scenarios on 2 million miles of roads in the US.

Well, I suppose the promising part (absent any actual promises…) is that those could be remedied at some point, either officially or potentially by a third party?

Reading through the reviews, the phones all seem to suffer from issues that affect just even basic, normal usage: very slow performance/restarts, poor voice call audio (quality/volume), bad user experience with native messaging applications, etc.

The Orbic and Nokia both charge via micro-USB. In 2022. And neither records video.
It seems a fair assumption that neither are really an issue for the likely recipients, but the fact that all of these phones are apparently utter tripe does seem a bit of an insult to Verizon’s customers, free or not.
