Senior writer and reporter for The Verge covering media, business, and technology. Before joining The Verge, I did similar stuff at Wired. I've also written for The Atlantic, Fast Company, Nieman Journalism Lab, and elsewhere. I'm a dad and a recovering academic. I used to do comparative literature, media studies, and literary theory at Penn. Mostly, I like to think really hard while talking as fast as I can. One day, I want to write one of those books subtitled "How _____ Changed The World."
