When you’re traveling, you want things to go as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. This is where the Samsung Galaxy S26 and its latest features come into play: helping you discover new neighborhoods or cuisines, cross language barriers, or keeping your sensitive passport information and boarding passes secure. From security to convenience, natural speech queries to stunning camera images, here are some of the highlights of the Galaxy S26 family that will help you at every stage of your journey.

Get instant foreign language translations with Live Translate

Live Translate, now available across all Galaxy S26 models, is a translator that works in real time, delivering essential information at the touch of your phone screen. It can read street signs and menus through your camera, dictate live phone calls in your own tongue, and interpret a conversation on the screen while you’re speaking with someone face to face.

You can translate phone calls as they’re happening, and you’ll see real-time translations appear on your screen while also hearing the translation throughout the conversation. If you’ve received a voicemail, you can hear a translation, have it transcribed in your language, and save both the voicemail and the transcription for further reference later. Available in 20 languages at launch, including regional variations,* it’s like having a local next to you at all times.

Use Galaxy AI as your concierge on the go

The Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup introduces the latest Galaxy AI innovations, such as stringing together a series of tasks across multiple apps to provide truly immersive and accurate results.

Ask Galaxy AI (in natural speech) about any topic you have in mind, such as the latest museum exhibits, local culture, and exciting happenings in town. Not only will you get immediate and proactive suggestions from across the web, but you can also instruct Galaxy AI to do something with these findings. Galaxy AI can help you find nearby restaurants or bars and save them into a new Note, search for email itineraries and add them to your Calendar, or make reservations and share them with friends and family. It’s all possible thanks to Seamless Actions across Apps, which offers recommendations and completes tasks all by speaking in natural language directly into your Galaxy S26.

Plus, Galaxy AI’s Now Nudge feature also becomes your personal assistant across multiple apps. For example, it analyses your saved Calendar entries to make suggestions such as when to leave for events, or recommends photos and locations to share with certain contacts based on your recent app and messaging activity. By learning from your habits, you can get personalised insights and stay organised no matter where in the world you are.

Hide your screen with Privacy Display

If you’re in a crowded line and trying to access your digital identification, or seeing if a foreign transaction went through with someone sitting next to you, you might be concerned about wandering eyes. The new Privacy Display integrated in the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra solves this problem with the first of its kind to be built directly into a smartphone, integrating the latest hardware and software advancements in an industry first. That means no film appliqués or third-party cases to muddle the high-resolution display.

You can configure Privacy Display within the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s Settings menu to activate when logging into certain websites and apps, or when unlocking your phone. Choose which apps you want to keep private (such as banking and financial apps), and where on the screen you want it applied (such as for incoming notifications). Privacy Display can even turn on automatically whenever your phone detects a login screen, via the PIN, pattern, password option.

Get creative with Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 200-megapixel camera and AI-powered apps

What is a holiday without envy-inducing photos to showcase? With the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, you’ll have no shortage of images to choose from. The Galaxy S26 Ultra’s 200-megapixel camera delivers sharp detail and crisp, clear images at any range. AI stabilises your view with 100x Zoom, which enhances clarity when photographing from a distance. And Super Steady with Horizontal Lock leverages internal hardware to provide cinema-quality motion tracking during fast-paced sequences.

Once you’ve got an enviable gallery of images, try playing around with them in AI-powered Creative Studio: Transform photos, design new images, and make stickers to send and save. Style or decorate existing photos by selecting a photo and applying styles or adding stickers, text, or images. Generate wallpapers for your Lock Screen or Home Screen by selecting Wallpaper in Design Studio. Add some flair to selfies by transforming them into comics, 3D cartoons, or watercolor artworks in Portrait Studio. And with AI Erase, you can eliminate distracting elements such as photobombers with just a few taps, simply by selecting unwanted details and letting Photo Assist fill in the missing parts.

Take advantage of Samsung’s newest features through every step of your travels, no matter if you’re planning your next big trip, navigating logistics en route, or discovering new experiences at your dream destination. Learn more about the Galaxy S26, S26+, and Ultra smartphones.
